Senator Mark Kelly is the featured speaker for the 2026 Iowa Democratic Wing Ding on Thursday, Aug. 13, at 6 p.m. at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake.

Kelly is a retired U.S. Navy combat pilot, engineer, and NASA astronaut. Iowa Democratic Wing Ding, known as “the Wing Ding,” is one of the state’s largest and longest-running annual marquee political fundraisers and celebrations.
